About Suzan Piper

I first began studying Indonesian at Sydney University in 1971. I have taught Indonesian language and cultural studies on various Sydney university campuses for over a decade, and continue to research in this area. I have 15 years professional experience as an Indonesian interpreter and translator, specializing in government/politics, law, education/training, the media, business, the arts. I have also worked in community development and project management. I provide orientation briefings, advice and strategies to businesses and individuals from both countries. I have spent 15 years living and working in Indonesia .
