About Sawung Jabo

Sawung Jabo is a musician, actor, choreographer, diretor, composer and arranger. He is a member of Rendra's Bengkel Teater (BTR), as is Suzan Piper. He has performed with BTR in Indonesia , the USA , Japan and Korea , and has acted in and produced his own plays in Australia and Indonesia . He has also performed in the Australian films: The Year of Living Dangerously and Lucky Miles .

He is a well-respected Indonesian musician whose bands include Sirkus Barock (formed in 1976) and the supergroup Swami formed with co-star Iwan Fals.
